worries

i worry about you.
you worry about me.
isn't it time we stopped worrying
and started enjoying the infinite
possibilities of happiness
we can offer one another?
honestly, life is too short
to deliberately waste time
thinking of what can go wrong.
most of the time we could be doing so much else.
worries are amongst the most useless,
unfair feelings,
but when it finally hits you, you've already lived half
of your life.
sometimes I wonder...
shouldn't we have listened to the man when he sang
"don't worry, be happy" ?
